About the Event
Calling all Arabic students: Join us on December 13th for a tour in accessible Arabic of Lifta, Palestine-Israel in which we’ll learn about the once thriving Palestinian village of Lifta, which was eradicated in 1948. We’ll learn about the history, narrative, and Palestinian stories. This tour will be in Arabic and suitable for students at the beginner plus level and above.
Specific meet up location will be sent via e-mail prior to the tour.
תלמידות ותלמידי ערבית, הצטרפו אלינו ב-13/12 לסיור בכפר הפלסטיני העקור, ליפתא. בסיור נלמד על הכפר המשגשג, שתושביו גורשו בנכבה של 1948, נשמע על ההיסטוריה של המקום וסיפורים על החיים בכפר. הסיור יתקיים בערבית ומיועד לתלמידות ותלמידים מרמת מתחילים פלוס ועד ביניים.
