Goals:

• Developing everyday communication skills

• Understanding key grammatical structures

• Integrating social and cultural topics in a critical and accessible way

Topics:

• Expanded coverage of the following subjects: introductions, hobbies, work, daily routine, emotions, shopping, food, restaurant and café.

• Home environment – rooms, apartment, shared living, pets, building. Apartment searches. Greetings and manners.

• Neighborhood – neighbors, shops, services, neighborhood characteristics, slang. Making social plans.

Language Material:

• Review of the present tense verb, active past tense, and imperative.

• Expansion of the following topics: time expressions, question words, conjunctions, prepositions and their inflection.

• Construct forms (smikhut), irregular nouns, large numbers, ordinal numbers.
