ONLINE INTER. HEBREW MON | SPRING 25
Debate Club w/ Nattan | 30h
Description
In this course, we will explore a range of topics, including the war in Gaza, global economic and environmental challenges, the rise of fascism, human rights, and more, with an emphasis on the rights of various minority groups in Israel, such as Palestinians (on both sides of the Green Line), refugees, marginalized socio-economic classes, Mizrahim, people from the Former Soviet Union, and Ethiopians. Each class will focus on a different topic. We will examine the background of the issue using various media sources, including social media. In the final hour of each lesson, students will engage in a debate related to the day’s topic. Through this approach, we will strengthen linguistic skills such as making comparisons, presenting arguments for and against, and, of course, expressing ourselves while expanding our vocabulary in the context of current affairs. At the same time, we will deepen our understanding of political, social, and constitutional issues in Israel. **No prior debating experience is required. *** Early Bird Price Start at - 1300 NIS - Until 23/03 Reduced Price Start at - 1400 NIS - Until 13/04 Full Price Start at - 1500 NIS - Until first lesson of the course We have made a small change in our pricing structure and are now offering a sliding scale in order to give you the opportunity to donate 100 or 200 shekels when you buy a course.
